Fiji Gas is a proud partner of the Coca Cola Fiji Secondary Schools Athletic Championship. The Official Lighting of the 2017 Games Torch Relay was held yesterday at the Coca Cola Head Office in Laucala Beach, Suva where the cauldron was lit the 2016 Coca Cola Games reigning champions Jasper Williams High School (girls division) and Marist Brothers High School (boys division), amongst official partners and sponsors.
Official partners of the coke games, Fiji Gas, Fiji Water and Pacific Energy and new sponsor Digicel were amongst those attending the Official Lighting ceremony.
In a statement at the Official Lighting of the 2017 Games Torch Relay, Max Olsson Fiji Gas National Operations Manager said, “We look forward to another successful year and thank the organizers, Coca Cola and the Fiji Secondary Schools Association for having us on board again this year.”
The cauldron will remain lit at the Coca Cola Head Office and will then journery around the country to various schools. The Fiji Gas Torch and cauldron will be carried from the Coca Cola Head Office on its return from the relay to the ANZ Stadium by the 2016 Coke Games reigning champions on Friday 21st April where the official opening of the Games will be held.
